Being born again is the miracle God does after you turn to Him. He gives you a new heart and a new desire to live His way.
Being born again is not a phrase Christians invented. Jesus used it Himself when a religious leader named Nicodemus came to Him at night, and He said that no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
It is God’s part, not yours
Conversion is the choice you make. Being born again is the miracle God performs in response. He gives you a new heart with a genuine desire for Him, and that is something no amount of willpower produces.
What changes
You want different things. The pull towards what once controlled you begins to loosen.
You can talk to God, and you find that you want to.
You have certainty about where you stand with Him.
What does not change overnight
Your circumstances may stay difficult, and old habits may still argue with you. Being born again is a new beginning, not the end of the road. It is the point where God starts working from the inside out.
