Why He came
He came to deal with the one problem no person can solve. Sin separates us from God, and no amount of good behaviour closes that gap. Jesus closed it by taking the punishment Himself.
The cross and the resurrection
He died on a cross for the forgiveness of our sins. Three days later He rose from the dead, and that is what sets Him apart from every other religious figure. A dead teacher can leave advice behind. A risen Saviour can give life.
He is coming back
Scripture says He ascended to heaven and will return to the earth to reign as King. That is why the invitation is urgent, and why it is personal.
